DC Adventures Addendum

While the DC Adventures sourcebook is very user-friendly and detailed, we have found that there are times that a character concept needs a power or advantage that isn't covered in the way we would like. As such, we've developed our own version of the addendum to be used within the RC Universe.

Advantages:
TOUGH GUY
Combat
Ranked [2]

You are uniquely adapted to fighting particularly powerful foes. When facing a foe of a greater Power Level, or a foe who has an attack that is a greater rank than your Toughness, you gain a +2 circumstance bonus to your Toughness. If you have 2 ranks this bonus is increased to +5. This circumstance bonus is not affected by Power Level. This advantage is particularly useful for villains who can be affected by characters of many different power levels, but are always very tough.

SACRIFICE ATTACK
Combat
Ranked [2]

When you make a sacrifice attack, you take a penalty of up to -2 on your active defenses (Dodge and Perry) and add the same number (up to +2) to the effect bonus of your attack. A second rank allows for adjustments up to -5 and +5. This cannot be used with a range of Perception.

SPEED OF THOUGHT
Combat

Use Intellect instead of Agility for initiative checks

WITHSTAND DAMAGE
Combat

May reduce active defenses 2 ranks to increase Toughness bonus by 2 ranks.

LIONHEART
Combat

+5 bonus against Fear and related effects.

Powers:
DENSITY
Effect: Growth with a ± Modifier 2 points per rank
You can temporarily increase your mass, gaining Strength
and Stamina while becoming heavier. Density Increase
modifiers are restricted by power level limits.

Each rank of Density Increase adds 1 rank to your Strength
and Stamina (constructs add 1 rank to Strength and Toughness
if they lack Stamina) and adds 1 rank to your mass. Every
two ranks (rounded down) decreases your active defenses
(Dodge and Parry) by one. Increases to your Strength and
Stamina also improve related traits like your Strength
Damage, Fortitude, and Toughness. There is no modification
 to size, speed, or skills.
