Complications: Names Have Power In Magic - Using a person's full name is evidence of a level of personal knowledge, and knowledge is power. If a mage uses a person's given name in conjunction with a spell, it will have a stronger effect, depending on how intimate that knowledge is. This is why most magic-users keep their identities a closely-guarded secret. If the mage has read the full name somewhere (personal records, internet, etc.), the attack gains a +2 effect. If they have heard the full name spoken, they get a +5. And if they have heard the person speak the name from their own mouth, +10 effect is applied. Power Loss - Technopagan has a psychological dependancy on technology, unable to cast powerful spells without some form of data processor. Former Distinctive Features - When Jackie's need for technology to cast spells became apparent, Clintor tattooed her body with a massive spell to overcome the weakness. When he died, however, the spell was broken and she returned to her former appearance and technological dependancy. Loyalty - The Lich are cursed to unquestioningly serve Dominion by the spell that turned them into Lich and freed them from their imprisonment in Dulling Mire. Monstrous - The Lich are undead creatures that still bear the wounds that killed them. Wanted - Technopagen is wanted by the Champions of Mysteria. |
Technopagan was created and designed by Jim Caswell. She is an NPC.
