Known Background: Mark Lewis became Stuntman for the first time eleven years ago in Williamsburg, New Jersey. It was shortly after that when he became one of the founding members of the Crusaders. He spent nearly five years in the company of his Crusaders allies including splinter groups. Then came the fateful day when the villain team known as Havok set a lethal trap for the Crusaders. Stuntman was left in a coma for nearly a year. The surviving, demoralised Crusaders broke up after a few more tragedies. In the months afterward, Stuntman became involved with another ex-teammate, la Chatte Noire, who had missed the Havok adventure. Together, they joined the Champions of Justice.
He has achieved much recognition since that time, and his reputation as a trouble maker is nothing more than a historical note. His relationship with la Chatte Noire ended when she had become a werecat. The Villain, an evil clone of the Crusader called the Hero, revealed Stuntman’s, and the other old Crusaders’ real names to the world. As such, he has had to cope with increased notoriety and a lack of security. He has become a successful inventor, movie producer, and entrepreneur. His long years of experience at overcoming adversity have earned him much respect in the eyes of his fellow Champions of Justice. With his recent marriage, he has decided to retire as Stuntman and continue his non-super heroic pursuits. However, after a little more than a year, he found he missed heroics, and unretired.
Personality: Stuntman was, for years, the Class Clown of the super hero set. He believed in fighting the good fight, but he took great pains to joke, kid around, or annoy his fellow Crusaders. The heavy adversity he has faced, and the professionalism of his fellow Champions has tempered him. He still loves to joke and kid around, but he is more reserved about it. He is generally more businesslike around his new teammates. He married and retired from the life of an active adventurer, but has recently returned to it and accepted a position on the Champions' Executive Board.
Powers/Tactics: Stuntman is an incredible inventor. While not standing out as a scientist, his skill as an engineer, adapting technologies to different purposes is without equal. He possesses no super human powers, but he carries an incredible variety of weapons he has developed. He is also an incredible athlete, very strong and the reflexes and agility of an Olympic gymnast. He has also received training in the martial arts. His fighting style over all is very unpredictable. He alternates between his weaponry and his martial arts abilities at will.
Appearance: Stuntman stands 6’1” tall and weighs 185 lb. Out of costume he is a handsome man with brown eyes, dark hair and a moustache. His uniform is a grey, armoured body stocking with black gloves, boots and weapons belt. He wears a blue helmet and a silvery gas mask. He tends to wear a leather jacket over the costume.
Stuntman was created, designed and is played by Andy Fox.
