Complications:
Hatred - Having served during the Cold War and subjected to all of the Anti-America propoganda, Mykola has a deep distain for the U.S. government and wishes to see the country destroyed. The fact that the motherland has turned its back on him is also a sore point.
Loyalty - Due to his facilitating Mykola's escape from federal authorities and later giving him powers with which to fight, Commander Loginov has sworn his fidelity to Bogdan Sikorsky.
Power Complication - Some drugs have particularly potent effects because of Mykola's altered metabolism.
Arrest Warrant - Commander Loginov is wanted by local law enforcement agencies and the Russian government.

Background: Commander Mykola Loginov had a long, dedicated career in the Russian Navy during the Cold War, but when it came to an end and the Soviet Union collapsed, he found that everything he knew and believed was gone. He continued as a captain of one of the country's nuclear submarines, but grew to feel as though it was a pointless position, holding weapons that his homeland now never intended to use against an enemy that was no longer being fought. Recently, he decided to take matters into his own hands and launched an attack on the United States from off the coast of Alaska. His attempt was foiled, however, by the American Rangers, and he was taken into custody.

While being taken to a federal prison, Mykola's transport was attacked and he was released by Bogdan Sikorsky, the former Russian nationalist and Havok member Cyclotron. In exchange for his freedom and fidelity, Bogdan made him a lieutenant in the Ruspovik Family. While showing him the Nobophnk Serum, they discovered that Mykola's extended exposure to radiation aboard the submarine mutated the drug, giving him further enhancements than normal and, apparently, slowly rejuvinating him.
