The Hawk Nest

The Hawk Nest is built atop Lexington Towers in downtown Chicago on the block surrounded by Maple, State, Oak and Dearborn; three blocks from Lake Shore Drive. This headquarters is state of the art and is fully capable of serving as both a headquarters and home for The Hawk. With everything from a computer center and laboratory to a gymnasium and private living quarters, this headquarters is among the most hero friendly available.

The Hawk's Nest takes up the top four floors of the building. The floors are actually ¼ higher than normal, making the building 25 stories high. The walls are titanium-reinforced (20 DEF) and - while there appears to be windows - solid. Rooms are optionally equip with "viewing portals" that show images from outside cameras. The interior of the entire building is monitored with motion detectors, pressure plates and infrared cameras; all of which is monitored by Junior. Each Hawk member is equipt with a communicator which automaticly triggers a retina scanner at any Nest entry point to provide access. The headquarters is also fully equip with its own helicopter landing pad and observatory.
