Brought together by coincidence, the original Lucky Seven heroes were formed into a team with a huge amount of turnover, but dedicated to protecting the people of Las Vegas from the evil often visiting the city. While Sin City had been considered off-limits to violence due to its usefulness as a place for villains to launder money and blow off steam, the heroes' presence made those options harder to obtain, releasing it to those who sought to cause chaos.

As the Aces membership dwindled, the PCP was getting ready to open a new Strikeforce office in the city. As such, the new director approached the remainging heroes to become consultants, joining the Nevada Strikeforce.
