Late 1990's to early 2000's

Seeing the need for a new hero group in Chicago, Larry Carter set out to find individuals brave enough to defend the city. Four men stepped forward to accept the challenge: Midnight Cross, Pallequin, Dynamo (later known as Ravenclaw) and Howler. Over the next two years, the membership fluctuated as new blood came it, tragedy was dealt with, and most of the founding members moved on to other adventures. However, the spirit of heroism and the dedication to the city of Chicago continued on. Now a new mixture of young and old heroes gather to carry the torch of justice.
