Complications: Distinctive Features - Eidolon releases a distinctive odor of Brimstone. Enemy - The Umbarran spirit is in a centuries-spanning battle with the chaos spirit Raziel. Names Have Power In Magic - Using a person's full name is evidence of a level of personal knowledge, and knowledge is power. If a mage uses a person's given name in conjunction with a spell, it will have a stronger effect, depending on how intimate that knowledge is. This is why most magic-users keep their identities a closely-guarded secret. If the mage has read the full name somewhere (personal records, internet, etc.), the attack gains a +2 effect. If they have heard the full name spoken, they get a +5. And if they have heard the person speak the name from their own mouth, +10 effect is applied. Split Personality - The relationship between Augustus and Umbarran is often a tenuous one where they fluxuate between cooperation and struggling for control. Foolish Mortals - Umbarran is distainful of mortals and extremely overconfident. Secret Identity / Power Loss - Augustus Lucienne has STR 1, STA 2, AGL -1, DEX 2, AWE 3[and other values shown in small type after the \] in normal form. The only powers he retains in his human form are the magic sense and 2 ranks of the Fast Spells effect. Flashbacks - Augustus occasionally suffers from memory flashbacks from Umbarran's previous hosts.
